Ashish Balraj Sharma

Ashish is an Independent writer and filmmaker with deep passion for films. A member of the Screen Writers Association, Mumbai, he has been involved in four short film projects as a writer. ‘A Perfect Murder’ a 48 hours film project which he co-wrote won 5 awards, including Best Writing. He directed his own scripted short, ‘Rage’, which has already made to 6 film festival screenings winning two awards including 'Best Screenplay' in Social Development Film Festival of India, Hyderabad and 'Best film 1st runner up award' at the Flying Elephant Film Festival, Thrissur.Also a movie poster designer, Ashish has international short and feature length credits to his name, including ‘Waiting in the Wings -The Musical’ which featured Shirley Jones (Academy Award Winner), Christopher Atkins (Golden Globe Nominee), Sally Struthers (Emmy Award Winner) and Lee Meriwether (Emmy and Golden Globe Award Nominee). He is presently working on the post-production of his upcoming short titled as ‘The Gatecrasher’.
